Director of Photography

I am a Munich based, award-winning Director of Photography (DoP), member of the German Society of Cinematographers (BVK) and the Steadicam Operator Association (SOA). My work covers fictional storytelling for cinema and television, commercials, music videos and documentaries.

Following my film-studies in Los Angeles and London, where I graduated with a distinction in cinematography, I decided to grow my career by moving through all camera departments, from loader to 1st AC to over 16 years as a Steadicam operator. In 2014, I made my debut as a Cinematographer with the award winning short film Outlier. From then on I have been working as a Cinematographer / Director of Photography on numerous TV series, feature films, commercials and music clips as well as documentaries. I am strangely passionate about light and shadow, shapes and lines, frame composition, about creating moods and bringing stories from a script to screen.
