Having completed my film studies in Los Angeles and London with a distinction in cinematography for my 20 minute - 35mm graduation film in 2002, I returned to Munich where I trained at the ARRI headquarters followed by a career as a camera assistant and camera operator. In 2006, after graduating from the SOA Steadicam Masterclass led by Garret Brown, I moved on to specialise as a steadicam operator utilising my gear on numerous feature films and episodic work for television and cinema as well as on commercials, music videos and documentaries. I have worked as a cinematographer since 2011, but my official debut as a Cinematographer was the short film "Outlier" (2014) starring an amazing cast with Miriam Margolyes (Harry Potter), Jean Marsh (Return to Oz), Antje Traue (Man of Steel) and Ed Stoppard (The Pianist). In 2015 I graduated from the ASC Cinematography Masterclass in Hollywood where I was able to expand my skills, learning from some of the worlds best cinematographers such as John Bailey ASC, Guillermo Navarro ASC, Roberto Schaefer ASC AIC, Bill Taylor ASC, Bill Bennet ASC and Daryn Okada ASC. My passion, my experience, my dedication and my eye for detail have contributed to make me an internationally valued Steadicam Operator and Cinematographer. One of my big personal strengths that many colleagues cherish, is my inconspicuous way and my ability to spread calm into a hectic and nervous environment.
